Sitting chair of the State Revenue Committee — the body that registers cash registers, runs the fiscal-receipt backbone, and issues the conformity assessments that govern which models can sell in Armenia. Appointed by government decision on 28 November 2024, succeeding Rustam Badasyan. Career economist: PhD from the Armenian State University of Economics, Fletcher School (Tufts) public-policy program, and a decade of macroeconomic-policy roles at the Ministry of Finance.
