Notes and findings
Sole Ingenico representative since the company's first year
The «sole official representative of Ingenico company in Armenia» framing was already on the company's website in its earliest Wayback snapshot — May 2010, about a year after the 2009-05-29 incorporation. The first major industry event the company hosted in Armenia was an Ingenico seminar in Dilijan on 23-24 September 2011 (per its own news archive). The exclusivity arrangement has been continuous through to at least the 2026 site content, where the company states it has been representing Ingenico in Armenia for «more than 15 years».
JustQR partnership (2021) — with Acba Bank and Viva-MTS / MobiDram
On 3 September 2021 Future Payments Systems took part in the launch of JustQR, a contactless QR-code payment system designed by Konstantin Saroyan (Secretary General of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges) and rolled out jointly with MobiDram (Viva-MTS's fintech subsidiary, GM Kim Avanesyan) and Acba Bank (CEO Hakob Andreasyan). The product was explicitly designed as compatible with the existing Ingenico POS terminals already in Armenian merchants — i.e. the FPS-supplied installed base was the deployment substrate. Ralph Yirikyan was Viva-MTS GM at the time — the same Yirikyan who had led K-Telecom CJSC (the continuous legal entity behind the VivaCell / VivaCell-MTS / Viva-MTS / Viva Armenia brand sequence) since November 2004, including when it won the receipt-back lottery tender on 27 February 2014. Note: Yirikyan's individual attendance at the JustQR launch event was not independently confirmed in our research pass; we know FPS, MobiDram and Acba Bank were principal partners.
Holder of Ingenico Move/3500 conformity since at least 2022
The Future Payments Systems entry first appears in the SRC conformity-assessment list paired with Ingenico Move/3500 in September 2022 — meaning the company has held this mandate continuously through at least three published list iterations (Sep 2022, March 2025, and the current 2026 list).
